Flossie Fizzberry

Delighting young and old alike by creating a plethora of amazing creations using nothing but air, imagination and multicoloured latex. Flossie Fizzberry first picked up a twisting balloon about 25 years ago and has been twisting balloons professionally for about 20 years. 

Through the medium of her balloons Ms Flossie Fizzberry has become a well loved part of a generation of Nelson children, who are now beginning to bring their own children to get a balloon from the locally renowned ‘World’s best balloon twister’.

Additionally, Flossie has amazing skills in Face Painting, Giant bubbles, and as Ms Fizzberry, performs birthday and community shows for children aged 3 to 8 years (And sometimes well beyond) Her shows are full of colour, laughter, balloons and magic that will have you and your kids laughing out loud and filled with wonder. 

Flossie has attended several Balloon conventions in Australia taking out several awards and enjoying the inspiration shared between balloon artists.

Qualifications and awards

In 2010 she gained Certified Balloon artist status though qualatex industry training and is qualified in all aspects of balloon Decor.  In 2013 she won the title of 'fastest balloon dog twister' at Ozjam Balloon convention. In 2018 she was the recipient of the Jeff Hayes Visionary Scholarship for inspiration and dedication to the balloon industry.
